How to Build Six Packs Quickly

Is there really a way to get a six pack fast? The answer is yes. However, there are certain factors, which influence the time you need to achieve that.

Firstly, we have to make it clear that the most crucial point on trying to get a six pack fast is your body fat percentage. You will need a fat percentage measuring tool. If you don't already own one you can easily find one in the market in a relatively low price. Measuring your fat percentage will give you a clue on how easy it will be for you to lose the stomach fat which is covering the abdominal area. However, you must keep in mind that an extremely low fat percentage is unhealthy and can cause various organism malfunctions. The minimum acceptable fat percentage for males is around 5% and for females 10%.

So, after measuring your fat percentage you will have a pretty good idea on how much work lays in front of you. It is understandable that someone with a fat percentage around 5% won't need more than 2-3 weeks of training and proper nutrition in order to see some results. On the contrary, someone with 20% of body fat percentage must lose some fat prior working on his abs.

If you find yourself in our second example then we suggest you follow these steps below:

Step-1: Adopt a nutrition plan where all fats are reduced on a minimum level. In the same time, increase your daily protein intake through solid protein rich food and supplementation, until you have reached an amount of approx. 1 gram per pound of bodyweight.

Step-2: Start doing lots of cardio, by using the treadmill in your gym or even better by jogging at least for an hour every day.

Step-3: Focus on your abs training, even if that means "stealing" workout time from other muscle groups.

Step-4: Be patient. Your first goal is to lose the belly fat. If you manage that then you can easily define your abs.

If you think that stomach fat is not an issue for you then you don't have to be that discipline with the rules mentioned above. You still have to watch your nutrition, your protein intake should be the same as in the first example, do your cardio exercise twice a week and focus on your abs training until you think you are satisfied with the results.

The way you are working on your abs is very important. You should train them until you feel them burning and not just doing a certain number of reps. If necessary change your abs exercises in order to prevent muscle adaption.

These are some simple steps to take if you are wondering how to get a six pack fast. Although most of us are already aware of them, we are not patient and persistent enough to follow them. Now that the summer is approaching, get yourself together and hit the gym.
